HBA Night at the Celtics
An annual HBA tradition! Families can purchase tickets to a Boston Celtics game, and HBA players may be selected for unforgettable on-court experiences — from pregame scrimmages to high-five lines to standing with the players during the national anthem.
Event Overview
🏀 Games:
- Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, vs. Los Angeles Clippers, 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, vs. Miami Heat, 7:30 p.m.
✔️ Eligibility:
- Due to limited availability for both tickets and on-court experiences, there is no guarantee we will have enough spots for all players in the HBA program. We start with the older grades and work our way down. UPDATE, NOV. 1: We were able to acquire additional tickets from the Celtics and will be able to offer them to everyone in the program.
On-Court Experiences (Players Only)
- Pregame Scrimmage
- National Anthem Line (stand with players during anthem)
- Halftime High-Five Line
- Halftime Scrimmage (not always available)
✏️ Notes:
- Experiences are assigned after we know final attendance.
- No requests for specific activities.
- If a player scrimmaged in a previous year, we’ll try to rotate them into a different experience so more players get a turn.
🔔 Tickets are mobile-only. Transfers will be sent to the purchase email a few days before the game.

FAQs
Can we buy tickets diretly through the Celtics/Ticketmaster?
Anyone can buy tickets on their own, but only players whose families purchase tickets through the HBA will be included in on-court activities.
Can my second ticket be used by a sibling or friend with another parent?
Yes—but only HBA players are eligible for on-court activities.
Will we be seated with our player?
Yes, your two seats will be together. We’ll try to honor “sit with friends” requests, but inventory spans multiple sections, so not all requests can be accommodated.
We can’t do the Nov. 16 (6–8) game. Can we get Feb. 6 instead?
Feb. 6 is reserved for younger grades. If extra tickets become available, we’ll notify across grades.
When do tickets arrive and how?
Mobile transfer to the email used at purchase, typically 2–3 days before the game.
Can we request a specific on-court activity?
No. Assignments depend on final numbers and past participation, with a goal of spreading opportunities.
