NOTE: The information below is for players who have been accepted onto an HBA team for the 2024-25 season. Emails were sent to parents of all players on Sunday and Monday (Sept. 29-30). If you do not see your email, please check your spam folder before reaching out.

Tri-Valley Sports (our uniform provider) has opened an online store where you can purchase uniforms. Here is the link: https://trivalley.tuosystems.com/stores/hopkinton-youth-basketball-2024

All players’ numbers will be assigned by the HBA. You do not enter a jersey number when you place your order. We will take care of that.

If your child played last year and has a uniform that still fits, you are all set. All new players as well as returning players who have outgrown their uniforms YOU MUST PLACE AN ORDER BY SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5 so that we can be sure we receive them before our first games. All players must have a game jersey and game shorts. The other two items — practice jersey and shooting jersey — are optional. Note that players must wear a reversible jersey to practice, but your child can wear their uniform top if you don’t want to order a practice jersey. Or you can use any reversible (such as a Rec jersey), or even just bring a dark shirt and light shirt.

We will have a uniform fitting (some items run small, so this is advised) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week from 6-7:45 p.m. each night. Update: Monday and Wednesday’s fittings will be at Doyle Gym, but Tuesday’s is being moved to Hopkins School due to Back to School Night at the middle school. Bring your child, and they can try on a jersey and shorts to get the correct fit. If you can’t make those times, you can go to Tri-Valley Sports (106-C Main Street in Medway), as they will have samples there.

These items will be distributed by your child’s coach in mid-November. When we have an exact date, we will let you know.

There will be a separate online store opening later this month, and it will have other apparel (sweats, hats, shirts, etc.). More details will come on that later.

A few clarifications about uniforms:

If your child played HBA travel basketball last year and purchased a uniform, they are all set. You do not need to buy a new one. We changed the style last year and are keeping that style going forward, so you will have the same one as everyone else.

If your child has an older sibling and you would like to pass down that uniform, it must be one that was purchased last year, or it will not match everyone else’s. If you do plan to use a hand-me-down from last year, please email us back with the jersey number so we can let Tri-Valley Sports know you will not be placing an order, and so we don’t assign that number to anyone else.

HBA travel basketball and Parks & Rec in-town basketball are completely separate organizations, and we use different uniforms. So, if your child owns a Rec uniform, you still need to buy an HBA uniform.
